On behalf of our client, a leading multinational company based in Basel, we are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join their dynamic finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career within a complex international environment.

The Role:
As Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all corporate tax matters, ensuring compliance with Swiss and international tax regulations, and supporting the business with strategic tax planning and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Swiss tax law and experience working within a multinational structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage corporate tax compliance and reporting for Swiss entities

  • Advise on international tax and transfer pricing matters

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and planning strategies

  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders

  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess business impact

  • Support M&A activity, reorganizations, and cross-border projects

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax Law, or related discipline

  • Recognised tax qualification (e.g. Swiss Certified Tax Expert, LL.M. in Taxation) preferred

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate/international tax, ideally from Big 4 or in-house within a multinational

  • Strong technical understanding of Swiss tax and exposure to international tax matters

  • Fluent in English; German is a significant asset

  • Analytical thinker with strong business acumen and communication skills
